"VIRIDITAS": Twelvth-century mystic Hildegard von Bingen described the concept of “viriditas”, which she variably used as a metaphor for spiritual and physical health. “Viriditas” literally translates to “greenness”, and is seen as a reflection of divine nature through the lush green of plant life. This issue asks us to explore the green mystery of life and abundance. How, and in what, is life reflected? What is “green”?
