A quiet pause, a moment of retreat in a world constantly spinning. A steadiness; a constancy granted by a conviction, habit, or tradition. An idea sparked in a moment, later distilled to its essential essence through careful consideration. To still be, to still continue to exist, to still struggle, yearn, or piece away. A humility at the core of our psyche; a steady willingness to go on.
Where does “still”-ness occupy our lives? What subtle forces of will must persevere, despite the churning of our world?
