"RECONSTITUTION": Within the alchemy of the individual, change often begins with a complete dissolution of the current self. This stage is referred to as the nigredo - the darkening; the return to the womb of our soul. Throughout the stages of albedo, citrinitas, and finally rubedo, where the changed individual is reconstituted into a refined, more whole version of themselves. This issue asks us to reflect on the conditions of growth, transmutation, and rebirth. Are we really created, and destroyed? Or do we just change form?
